“Burgmolen”

is a disappeared Belgian mill. The mill was of the post mill type and its function was to grind the corn.
The Burgmolen was a wooden corn windmill that was located on the east side of Burmolenstraat, on the corner of Klarewal and Colaertshillestraat. The former mill site is now undeveloped. The post mill was built before 1494 and was finally demolished in 1907.
